UPVC CASEMENT WINDOWS.
The below specification details our high security PVCu Casement Window which has successfully achieved the BS 7950 high security standard and therefore also the Secured by Design standard (of which we are members). On more price sensitive contracts, lower specifications are available.
Locking System:
Benefiting from shootbolt and mushroom adjustable cams, our espagnolette as standard achieves 500 hours salt spray corrosion resistance. This can be increased to 1000 hours for contracts in coastal areas.
Friction Stays:
Manufactured in the UK and available as austenetic for enhanced corrosion resistance, our friction stays have been tested to 30,000 full cycles demonstrating their reliability.
Energy Efficiency:
Our PVCu Open Out Casement Windows are registered with the Energy Saving Trust under the Window Energy Rating Scheme. We currently are able to offer our customers the most efficient products available under this scheme – an “A” rating. These are available on both fully and partially reinforced products in any colour finish. We are also able to simulate any glazing specification with our product range to prove its thermal performance (whole frame U-Value).
BS7950 Security:
To meet the stringent requirements of the standard, we fully reinforce all frames (all foils are fully reinforced 
regardless of 7950) and add hinge protectors to act as an anti jemmy device.
Secured By Design:
To achieve Secured By Design, our PVC Open Out Casement Windows are manufactured to BS 7950. We then liaise with the client to ensure that the specific glass requirement specified by the Crime Prevention Design Advisors (Architectural Liaison Officers). This typically will lead to the use of laminate glass on some of the project.
UPVC PIVOT WINDOW RANGE
Designed for the high-rise market sector, we have recently introduced this window into our range. This was to maintain our ethos of offering our customers the most comprehensive product range in Timber and PVCu available on the marketplace. 
Locking System:
Utilising adjustable roller locking points to both the head and the cill, our PVCu Pivot Window benefits from an integrated espagnolette locking system. This ensures excellent compression on all four sides of the Pivot Window which is extremely important due to its application on tall buildings.
Hinge:
Fully reversible with self-engaging restrictor, our PVCu Pivot hinge comes as standard with a powder coated finish. The sash can turn through approximately 180 degrees allowing easy cleaning of the external pane. Alternatively, with the PVCu Pivot window partially open, it can be used to create a natural airflow allowing warm air to escape through the top and cool air to replace this at the bottom.
Tested to in excess of 30,000 cycles without defect and with a maximum load capacity for the horizontal of 60kg per pair, our PVCu Pivot Window is ideal for schools, hospitals, offices, hotels, residential home and sheltered housing.

Utilising the comprehensive support from our supply chain, we are able to perform whole frame U-Value calculations for your PVCu Pivot Window requirements.
BS7950 Security:
Optional upgrade of our Pivot Windows to meet the standards of BS7950 is available upon request. This Window will shortly be tested at a UKAS accredited test house and the results will be updated in due course.

To achieve Secured by Design, our PVCu Pivot Window is manufactured to the BS 7950 standard. Communication with our clients ensures the specific glass requirement for the project is manufactured. These requirements are then confirmed through additional communication with the Crime Prevention Design Advisors (Architectural Liaison Officers) and will commonly lead to the use of laminate glass on some of the project.
TILT & TURN WINDOWS
The mainland European Window of choice, this option opens in to the property. Ideal for maximising the glazed area of openings and external cleaning of the product from the inside. Available in all product suites this Window easily achieves building regulations for both new build and refurbishment markets.
A European concept, the Tilt & Turn Window combines high security with easy clean facilities of external panes. Its unique design also allows for maximum light to be achieved on larger structural openings.
Gearing:
Benefiting from adjustable cams with loose outer allowing smooth interaction with mushroom striker plate. Cover caps for top and bottom hinges are available in White, Caramel or Dark Brown. In addition to the gearing, optional extras include restrictors both face fixed and rebated to suit any internal reveal finish.
